Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is hiring a Shift Supervisor in New Jersey. You will lead a team on shift, ensure top-tier customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety while managing cash handling and daily procedures.

You will train new hires, perform opening/closing tasks, operate the POS, and actively cross-sell products. Flexible, customer-focused leadership is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policy.
• Operate POS system and process payments per procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain solid knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements and all policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
