BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Key Holder to support Retail Operations, responsible for opening and closing the store and assisting during absences of management.

You will greet customers and manage cash and inventory, while training new staff and upholding store standards. This role emphasizes customer service, loss prevention, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent.
• Ability to work with fluid schedules; be available during peak hours of operation and availability to support stores on nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling.
• Team-oriented mentality.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them of the products and services.
• Open the store and close the store; support management in their absence.
• Assist during high-volume periods and train new employees.
• Recommend in-house products to customers.
• Assist with inventory management tasks: restocking, counts, and identifying discrepancies.
• Process cash transactions, including opening/closing tills and deposits.
• Operate scanners, cash registers and other electronics.
• Follow proper age verification policies and provide receipts.
• Process refunds and exchanges.
• Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss.
• Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, stock room, lockers and bathrooms.
• Train new employees on store procedures and customer service standards.
