Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a store associate to deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in finding products. You will process fast and accurate checkouts, handle cash, and engage shoppers in rewards programs.

The role includes stocking, merchandising, and supporting omnichannel efforts like BOPIS and SFS, while upholding SOPs and safety standards. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Operate checkout and handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and assist with enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise presentation to ensure in-stock conditions.
