Job summary

The Michaels Companies Springfield, VA store is hiring a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and provide solutions throughout the store. You will perform cash handling to standards and assist with checkout efficiency.

You’ll also unload trucks, stock shelves, execute planograms, and participate in in-store recovery, shrink controls, and safety programs. Knowledge of BOPIS/SFS processes and a positive attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop our store.
• Ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes and maintain store recovery standards.
• Support omnichannel processes including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in merchandise recovery and shrink/safety programs as required.
