Job summary

Stop & Shop in USA-CT-Colchester is seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead Front End, Online Pick-up and Cash Office, driving service excellence and profitability. You will recruit, train, and coach a frontline team while maintaining high sanitation and safety standards.

You will collaborate with store leadership to meet sales targets and control costs, while fostering a positive work environment and diverse, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail grocery.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, multitasking and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Customer Service departments (Front End, Online Pick-up, Cash Office).
• Ensure departments meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
• Recruit, hire and orient new hires; maintain a skilled team.
• Develop associates with performance plans and inclusion initiatives.
• Manage labor relations and resolve employee issues promptly.
• Uphold sanitation, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor metrics and optimize processes for efficiency and profitability.
• Engage with community partners and support local initiatives.
