O'Reilly Auto Parts in Glencoe, AL is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations.

The role includes shift management in the absence of managers and supervising staff to deliver excellent service and handle returns, transfers, and merchandising tasks.

Bilingual candidates encouraged; automotive knowledge and ASE certification are valued.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Retail auto parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using outside purchase ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds using correct payment methods; stage merchandise properly.
• Invoicing for merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to posted work schedule and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform all opening/closing duties and secure money, deposits, and premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
