Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Manager and Assistants in sales, service, and store operations in Mount Juliet, TN. The role includes shift management responsibilities in the absence of a higher-level manager.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills essential for coordinating with customers and team members.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification within required timeframe.
• Retail or automotive industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure execution of service programs.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per company policy and orders are processed promptly.
• Manage buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Ensure returns, refunds, and exchanges are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and secure money deposits.
• All other duties as assigned.
