Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in delivering outstanding customer service and store operations in Grovetown, GA. This role may assume shift management in the absence of store leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and ensure team executes on programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders, notifying customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases, using the outside purchase order ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges efficiently; issue refunds using correct payment methods; stage returned merchandise properly.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedules; approve changes; ensure accurate clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, secure money/deposits, prepare deposits, ensure night security lights are on, lock doors and secure building, arm/disarm alarms, and check/secure delivery vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.
