O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Supervisors in sales, customer service, and store operations. The role includes shift management responsibilities when managers are absent and requires strong communication with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and execute customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone calls are answered per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store and transfers; contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and communicate Zipline messages.
• Monitor work schedules, approvals, and timekeeping per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, including day-end procedures and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
