Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations in Thomasville, NC. The role will assume shift management duties when leadership is absent, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the outside purchase ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise appropriately.
• Invoicing of all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
