Job summary

Michaels Stores is hiring for a team member to help customers, ring up sales, and support store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist customers, promote rewards programs, and participate in stock, merchandising, and omni-channel processes.

This role requires the ability to stand long hours, lift boxes, and work varied shifts including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include employee discounts and more as described in store policies.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products, provide solutions, and assist with inquiries.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card programs.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining planograms.
