Job summary

Michaels Columbia store is hiring team members to deliver friendly customer service and fast checkout while unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store. You will engage customers in rewards programs, enroll members, and assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting, and bending as part of daily store duties, with a focus on safety and excellent guest experience.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks in a store environment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll customers.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties.
• Complete merchandise recovery and store maintenance for in-stock, well-merchandised areas.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
