Job summary

Michaels Allentown-Whitehall, PA is hiring a store associate to help customers, ring up purchases, and keep the store well-stocked and engaging. You will assist shoppers, locate products, and explain the Rewards program while ensuring fast, friendly service and accurate cash handling.

The role covers omni-channel support (BOPIS/SFS), truck unloading, shelving, and maintaining planograms. Candidates should be able to stand long hours and lift items when needed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Able to lift heavy boxes and use a ladder as needed.
• Must be at least sixteen years old.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock merchandise and perform recovery activities.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing buying and production.
