Job summary

Michaels in Allentown-Phillipsburg, NJ is hiring a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will also assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining store standards to support our brand promises.

Additionally, you may engage customers in rewards programs and enrollments, participate in omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS, and help with planograms and merchandise recovery.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards/Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise, and support in-stock goals
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs
• Interact professionally with customers and colleagues; model Michaels values
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
