Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Associate in Lancaster, PA. You will help customers find products, provide friendly checkout, and engage shoppers with rewards programs. You’ll participate in truck unloads, stocking, and planogram adherence to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock.

You’ll support omnichannel efforts like BOPIS and Ship From Store, handle transactions to standards, and contribute to safety and shrink programs while delivering the Michaels brand experience to every guest.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers, locate products and provide solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain in-stock and well-merchandised store through recovery and returns processes
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully with customers and teammates
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
