Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Security Associate to maintain a visible security presence at the assigned supply chain location and ensure a Safe environment. You will patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor CCTV, and enforce policies with a proactive approach.

In this role you will de-escalate conflicts, respond to incidents and emergencies, collaborate with leadership, and complete detailed incident reports while keeping certifications current.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of retail security or related field experience.
• 1–2 years of big-box retail security or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the location and ensure safety.
• Validate building security per policy; monitor gates, doors and perimeter.
• Engage with drivers; coordinate inbound/outbound processes and compliance.
• Perform regular safety and security audits using mobile devices.
• De-escalate situations; respond to incidents, emergencies and alarms.
• Use CCTV to monitor activities; report suspicions and breaches.
• Attend safety meetings; maintain required certifications and licenses.
