Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Security Associate to uphold Lowe’s Safe environment at a designated supply chain location. You will maintain a proactive security presence, inspect access controls, and coordinate with drivers under CT PAT compliance.

Your duties include conducting audits, patrolling premises, de-escalating conflicts, and reporting incidents with detailed case files. Ongoing training and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 1 year in retail, security, first-responder, or military field.
• 1 year in big-box retail, security or military settings.
• Valid driver’s license and security license.
• Prefer Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Safety or security.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible security and safety presence at the location.
• Validate building security per policy across doors, gates and perimeter.
• Engage with drivers in inbound/outbound processes per CT PAT.
• Conduct regular safety and security audits with mobile devices.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas by foot and vehicle.
• De-escalate incidents with professionalism.
• Respond to incidents, accidents, or emergencies promptly.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to enforce policies.
• Report suspicious behavior or security breaches to leadership.
• Complete incident reports with detailed descriptions.
• Monitor CCTV for unauthorized activities.
• Attend monthly Safety Team meetings and stay updated.
• Maintain required certifications and licenses.
