Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1 year retail, security, first-responder, or military experience.
• 1 year big-box retail, security, or military experience.
• Driver's license and security license.
• Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Safety, or related security field.
• 1 year experience with detailed incident report-writing.
• 1 year experience conducting quality reviews/audits.
• 1 year experience in using physical security systems (CCTV, EAS, etc.).
• First-Aid Certification.
• De-Escalation/Crisis Intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible and proactive physical security presence throughout the location.
• Validate physical security of the building per policy and procedure.
• Engage with fleet drivers in inbound/outbound processes in compliance with CTPAT.
• Perform regular safety and physical security audits using mobile devices.
• Conduct patrols to identify security concerns on foot or in a company vehicle.
• De-escalate situations with associates, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, accidents, and emergencies promptly and appropriately.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to enforce policies.
• Report suspicious behavior, hazards, or breaches to Leadership.
• Use case management system to document incident details.
• Monitor CCTV to detect unauthorized activities.
• Attend monthly Safety Team meetings for updates and changes.
• Maintain required certifications and licenses as required.
• Participate in court hearings and update case files; liaise with local law enforcement.
