Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a security-focused professional to maintain a visible safety presence across its supply chain location. You will patrol interiors and exteriors, verify doors and access control, and respond to emergencies.

Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership, document incidents in the case management system, and maintain required licenses while supporting CT PAT compliance and incident reporting.

This role requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years retail, security, first-responder, or military experience.
• 1-2 years big-box retail, security, or military experience.
• Driver’s license and security license preferred.
• Associate’s degree preferred for higher qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible physical security and safety presence across the location.
• Validate building security per policy (gates, doors, access control, perimeter).
• Engage with drivers and fleet processes in accordance with CT PAT.
• Perform regular safety and security audits using handheld devices.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols, on foot or by vehicle.
• De-escalate incidents involving associates, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, accidents, and emergencies (medical, fire alarms).
• Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to enforce policies.
• Report suspicious behavior or hazards to leadership.
• Maintain incident reports with accurate details in the case system.
• Monitor CCTV to detect unauthorized activities.
• Attend monthly Safety Team meetings.
• Maintain required certifications and licenses per Lowe’s.
• Engage with law enforcement as needed.
