Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a proactive security professional to maintain a visible security presence across assigned locations, ensuring a Safe environment. You will monitor CCTV, perform audits, respond to incidents, and collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to enforce policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of security/retail experience, and valid driver’s license along with a security license. On-site position with opportunities to engage with law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
• 1 Year Retail, security, first-responder, or military experience (or related field).
• 1 Year Big-box retail, security, or military experience.
• Driver’s License.
• Security License.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible and proactive physical security presence to ensure a safe environment.
• Validate physical security of the building per policy throughout the day (gates, doors, access control, perimeter).
• Engage with drivers and inbound/outbound processes in compliance with security standards.
• Perform regular safety and security audits using handheld devices.
• Patrol interior and exterior premises to identify security concerns.
• De-escalate situations with associates, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, accidents, and emergencies promptly and appropriately.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to enforce policies.
• Report suspicious behavior or breaches to leadership.
• Use case management to document incidents with details.
• Monitor CCTV to detect unauthorized activities.
• Attend monthly Safety Team meetings and stay updated on changes.
• Maintain required certifications and licenses.
