Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Supermarket in Brooklyn, NY. You will serve and safeguard shoppers and staff, conduct routine patrols, manage access control, and respond to security concerns with professionalism.

This full-time, unarmed role offers a night-shift schedule (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM) with pay at $19.48 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, team members, and visitors per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas and entrances.
• Monitor access points to deter unauthorized entry and theft-related activity.
• Document incidents and communicate information to site management.
