Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in New York, NY to protect tenants and visitors at a commercial real estate location. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service and professional communications.

The role emphasizes visibility, safety, and detailed reporting, with full-time hours and a pay rate of $17.00–$17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law; licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property personnel while following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building areas, entrances, parking, grounds, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity per property procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner and contact appropriate responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities.
