Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Supermarket in Brooklyn, NY. The role involves patrolling a retail location, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting customers and team members with professionalism.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will support access control, respond to security concerns, and help deter incidents while communicating clearly with site management and leadership.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, team members, and visitors following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns in a calm, professional manner; escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location including sales areas and entrances.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized entry and theft-related activity.
• Document incidents and patrols accurately and communicate findings to management.
