Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Retail Security Supervisor in San Jose, CA to lead security operations, manage a team of specialists, and ensure compliance with post orders and client policies. The role requires a degree or equivalent experience and at least five years in security management or related fields.

You will coordinate responses to incidents, maintain records, and develop training while supporting a responsive security program for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, related to security.
• Minimum of five years in safety and security management or supervision or related fields.
• State guard certification and client certifications as required; fees are employee responsibility unless noted.
• Strong time management, communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation and organizational skills.
• Flexible to work any shift Mon-Sun.

Responsibilities

• Liaison with client's corporate management to ensure proper use of security programs.
• Oversee a team of Retail Security Specialists, ensuring post orders are followed and training provided.
• Manage and coordinate all security operations and programs in the assigned area.
• Respond promptly to emergent events, issues, deficiencies and client requests.
• Initiate investigations and write incident reports as directed.
• Maintain accurate records, including timekeeping and daily activity reports.
• Perform other related duties as required
