Job summary

Buckle is opening a brand-new store in North Georgia Premium Outlets, Dawsonville GA, this August. We are hiring for a Seamstress/Tailor role to fulfill our mission of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests.

The role focuses on performing alterations (hemming jeans/pants), measuring, marking, and sewing with a Buckle sewing machine while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Flexible hours and seasonal demand may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or related sewing/alteration experience or training.
• 1–3 months related sewing/alteration experience and/or training.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Follow ticket instructions and guest specifications.
• Accommodate guests with on-the-spot alterations when requested.
• Meet deadlines and guest expectations for merchandise alterations.
• Use Buckle-provided sewing machine and supplies to perform alterations.
• Measure and mark alteration lines; pin alterations; remove stitches with ripper/needle/thread.
• Resew merchandise; press with iron or steamer; record work and alterations in logs.
