Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a part-time Seamstress/Tailor in Winston-Salem, NC. The role focuses on performing high-quality alterations for merchandise and providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will use Buckle’s sewing machines to hem jeans and pants, measure and mark alteration lines, and log all work. The position requires a willingness to work varying shifts, including peak shopping periods, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or 1–3 months related sewing/alteration experience.
• Ability to measure and mark alteration lines with accuracy.
• Excellent guest service mindset and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Follow ticket instructions and markings based on Guest specifications.
• Accommodate Guests with on-the-spot alterations when requested by Store Leaders.
• Meet deadlines and Guest expectations for merchandise alterations.
