Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to conduct in-store data collection at local retailers weekly across Albemarle, NC and surrounding stores. The role uses a downloadable app to scan barcodes and requires standing for long periods with occasional lifting.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with insurance.
• Ability to endure standing for long periods while accessing products.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach/store.
• Must have reliable Wi-Fi and be tech-savvy.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated local stores weekly to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Complete in-store display scanning weekly; supports 45% quantity checks when needed.
• Handle occasional Custom Projects adding 1–2 hours per week per store.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and report to the store within the described timeline.
