ScanScape is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate for Thomasville, NC 27360. You will visit local stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and aisles using a mobile app. The role offers flexible hours and on-site work with travel paid at your hourly rate.

Responsibilities include data collection across grocery, drug, and mass stores, meeting weekly deadlines, and contributing to client reports. The position requires independence and physical activity.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach up to 6 feet, and bend/stretch.
• Able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and have reliable Wi‑Fi access.
• Tech savvy and able to use a mobile scanning app.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products each week.
• Complete in-store scanning and display checks across assigned stores.
• Meet deadlines and maintain data quality for clients.

Education

High school diploma or GED (preferred)
