Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates in Etowah, NC to visit local stores weekly, scanning product barcodes on displays and aisles with a mobile app. The role offers flexible hours tailored to client needs and a consistent part-time schedule.

You'll work on-site across grocery, convenience, drug, and mass merch stores, earning $16 per hour with travel paid at your hourly rate (minus time costs).

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store sections.
• Provide quantity data for a portion of scanned products.
• Complete display scanning and data collection for 52 weeks a year.
• Collaborate with clients like Walmart and Kroger through in-store data gathering.
• Maintain scheduling across multiple store types and days.
