ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit designated local retailers weekly and scan product barcodes across displays and aisles. The role emphasizes independent work with flexible hours and physical activity throughout shifts.

The position offers base compensation at 16 USD per hour, potential overtime for special projects, and eligibility for benefits such as a 401(k) with employer matching and referral programs.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in store locations.
• Complete Display Scanning across the store on a weekly basis.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Meet weekly deadlines for client deliverables.
• Engage in in-store data collection for major retailers.
