Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year. You will scan barcodes with a mobile app, gather quantities for a portion of products, and meet weekly deadlines to deliver data for major retailers.

The role offers workplace independence, flexible hours, and the possibility of paid travel, with 401(k) eligibility and a referral program. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimal state auto insurance coverage.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and access in-store products.

Responsibilities

• Visit selected stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan product barcodes across locations.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Meet weekly deadlines and complete in-store data collection.
• Support clients with custom project data as needed.
• Maintain dependability and quality in independent work.
