Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local retailers weekly, scanning barcodes in displays and aisles. The role offers independence, flexible hours, and consistent weekly tasks across grocery, drug, and mass retailers.

You will use a mobile app to collect data, with base hours averaging 6–10 per week per store and additional hours for special projects. Requires reliability and a drive for accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to reach 6 feet in the air and flex/stretch.
• Able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists and arms.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections weekly at assigned local retailers for 52 weeks a year across multiple store types.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes in various store locations.
• Complete Display Scanning across the entire store weekly, which can take several hours.
• Assist with Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours in some weeks.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver accurate data to clients.
