Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year. You will scan barcodes with a mobile app across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores.

We work with major retailers and offer flexible hours, with paid travel at your hourly rate and a 401(k) with employer matching. The role emphasizes independence and reliability in a flexible retail setting.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan barcodes on displays and in aisle locations.
• Collect data across stores and assist in improving sales performance for products and retailers.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes throughout stores for weekly data collection.
• Complete in-store scanning weekly, with scheduling for holidays and year-round coverage.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver high-quality data for clients.
• Participate in possible additional work called Custom Projects that may extend weekly hours.
