Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Valleys is seeking a Sales Supervisor to support leadership and daily operations of the assigned retail store(s). You will drive profitability, efficiency, and policy adherence while developing staff and promoting a welcoming shopping environment.

Under Store Manager guidance, you will supervise staff, ensure compliance, and lead initiatives to improve customer service and sales performance across the store, production, and donation intake areas.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong written communication skills for reports and professional business correspondence.
• Effective verbal communication skills to present information clearly and respond to questions.
• Basic mathematics skills for daily transactions and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and donors, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
• Lead, train, and coach team members in daily operations and cash handling.
• Oversee pricing, sorting, and rotation of merchandise to maintain standards.
• Monitor donation processing, categorization, and movement to floor or storage.
• Maintain clean, organized environments across sales floor, production area, and donation intake area.
• Assign and manage cash drawers, ensuring cashier balancing per policies.
• Schedule breaks to maintain continuous floor coverage.
• Track daily sales metrics and report discrepancies to management.
