Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF THE VALLEY WORKS INC is seeking a Sales Supervisor to lead daily operations at the Roanoke store. You will oversee staff, ensure adherence to policies, and drive profitability while promoting a welcoming environment for customers and donors.

Under Store Manager guidance, you will train teams, manage cash handling, and monitor performance metrics. This full-time role requires flexibility, weekend availability, and commitment to Goodwill policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of six months supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
• Must complete Goodwill training within required time upon employment.
• Ability to obtain first aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and donors promptly and courteously.
• Lead, train, and coach team members in daily retail operations.
• Oversee pricing, sorting, and rotation of merchandise to standards.
• Monitor donation processing and ensure timely movement to floor or storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment on sales floor, production area and donation intake.
• Schedule and coordinate team member breaks to ensure floor coverage.
