Navy Exchange is seeking a Supervisory Sales Associate to lead a team and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment in Maine.

As a full-time supervisor, you will coach associates, manage daily store operations, promote product knowledge, and drive sales while ensuring accurate cash handling and inventory. This role includes day-one benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Product knowledge and ability to train sales staff on features.
• 1–2 years retail or related experience; 1 year in a lead/supervisory role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to read/write and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to multi-task, work with customers and management, and use basic math for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive customer service and build rapport with shoppers.
• Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about events and promotions.
• Lead and coach store associates to maintain a positive work environment.
• Handle POS transactions, cash handling, and basic reconciliations.
• Maintain store appearance and assist with inventory and loss prevention.
