Job summary

FirstCash is seeking entry-level, full-time pawnbroker/retail sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. You will assist customers with sales, loans, and transactions while earning commission on productivity in addition to hourly pay.

The role supports a busy, customer-focused environment with opportunities to participate in earned wage access and employee discounts. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, maintaining displays, and adhering to policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and offer financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean and merchandised.
• Processes sales and loans per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items according to policies.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Explains legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Collaborates with staff to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes training successfully.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
