You will bridge sales and supply chain, manage EDI flows (TrueCommerce familiarity a plus), coordinate 3PL partners, ensure retailer compliance, and deliver actionable reporting while leading cross-functional initiatives and retailer onboarding.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Retail Sales Operations Manager to oversee the seamless execution of retail operations from order processing to fulfillment. This pivotal role is designed to bridge the gap between sales and supply chain functions, ensuring smooth operations across major retail accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Order Operations & EDI Management

• Oversee the entire order lifecycle using EDI for retail accounts, ensuring precision and punctuality in order entry.
• Proactively address transmission errors and coordinate with internal teams for technical resolutions.
• Manage order adjustments, communicate with brokers, and track resolution outcomes.
• Adapt to specific retailer requirements, including maintaining order workflows and compliance checks.
• Schedule and communicate order details to third-party logistics (3PL) partners for confirmation.

Logistics & 3PL Coordination

• Act as the primary liaison with 3PL providers, ensuring timely and accurate shipment execution.
• Coordinate logistics processes across various carriers and portals.
• Plan and manage kitting work orders, collaborating with planning teams and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Oversee end-to-end shipment management from plans to execution.
• Conduct quarterly visits to 3PL facilities and attend retailer headquarters meetings as needed.

Retailer Compliance & Chargeback Management

• Organize and maintain shipment documentation for easy access and chargeback dispute resolution.
• Ensure retailer-specific dispute tools are up-to-date for efficient chargeback handling.
• Monitor performance metrics and address gaps through internal coordination.
• Attend compliance webinars and translate requirements into actionable steps for the team.

Reporting & Analytics

• Maintain and update the Retail Dashboard, ensuring accurate reporting for cross-functional use.
• Generate monthly performance reports to aid strategic planning and performance discussions.
• Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation and highlight discrepancies to relevant teams.
• Approve 3PL invoices and ensure shipment accuracy in reporting systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & New Business

• Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and marketing for inventory and demand alignment.
• Lead new retailer onboarding, coordinating logistics, compliance, and project management for successful launches.
• Manage intercompany inventory transfers and set up new SKUs with accurate data.
• Maintain sales contracts and serve as the key contact for internal teams and brokers.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in retail operations, sales operations, or supply chain roles.
• Proven experience managing EDI platforms; familiarity with TrueCommerce is a plus.
• Strong background in managing 3PL relationships and ensuring compliance with SLAs.
• Proficiency with retailer portals and ERP systems like NetSuite.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and meet deadlines consistently.
• Willingness to travel quarterly as required.
