Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring at our retail locations in Georgia. The role involves examining and grading donated goods, processing items quickly to meet production goals, and helping customers on the floor.

You will be part of a team dedicated to providing a positive guest experience while upholding store standards. The job requires strong communication in English, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Must be 18+ to operate forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and promote the brand while suggesting additional treasures.
• Maintain a professional, patient, and people-first attitude with guests.
• Move product to the retail sales floor with attention to detail and urgency.
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising strategies.
• Effectively upsell merchandise and round up during transactions.
• Accurately handle point of sale transactions with guest.
• Identify problems and seek management support.
• Communicate with management, peers, and guests.
• Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area and retail sales floor at all times.
• Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting hazards.
• Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
