Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring for a retail team member to support donation processing and sales operations. This role emphasizes guest service, fast-paced execution, and adherence to safety and store procedures.

You will greet guests, process items for the floor, upsell where appropriate, and maintain clean, organized workspaces while supporting teamwork and training requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest, deliver strong brand experience, and suggest additional items.
• Display a professional, customer-first attitude with guests.
• Transition products to the salesfloor promptly with attention to detail.
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising strategies.
• Assist with upselling and rounding up during transactions.
• Accurately handle POS transactions with guests.
• Identify and solve problems or seek management support.
• Communicate effectively with management and peers.
• Promote teamwork and cooperation with colleagues.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning, and instructions.
