Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring for a fast-paced retail position. You will greet guests, provide friendly service, and help move items to the sales floor while supporting merchandising and quick transactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and deliver excellent brand experience while suggesting additional items.
• Maintain a professional, patient, and guest-first attitude with customers.
• Transition products to the sales floor with care and urgency.
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising strategies.
• Recommend upsell merchandise and assist with transactions.
• Accurately handle point-of-sale transactions with guests.
• Identify problems and seek management support when needed.
• Communicate effectively with management, peers, and guests.
• Promote teamwork and cooperate with peers to meet goals.
• Follow training materials and perform tasks as instructed.
• Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized at all times.
