Job summary

The Michaels Companies Riverside store is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture and champion exceptional customer service. You will oversee front-end and service operations, ensuring brand standards, SOP compliance, and strong KPI achievement through coaching and day-to-day leadership.

Responsibilities include MOD coverage, managing POS/Self-Checkout, BOPIS/Same Day Delivery, loyalty programs, and in-store events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling to drive conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations for smooth transactions and support.
• Drive omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
