Job summary

Michaels Beaumont, TX is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture, oversee front-end and service operations, and drive strong sales while upholding brand standards and operational expectations. You will coach and develop team members, provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, ensure accurate POS and Self-Checkout use, promote the Loyalty Rewards Program, and champion protection plans.

The role also oversees in-store programs like Balloons, Knit & Sew, and BOPIS/Same Day Delivery

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations.
• Coach and develop team members to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs for compliance.
• Ensure execution of policies, standards, and store conditions.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems.
• Oversee in-store programs such as Balloons, events, and loyalty promotions.
• Promote protection plans and Extend services to customers.
• Drive sales and operational excellence in Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar.
• Oversee BOPIS and Same Day Delivery for omni-channel fulfillment.
• Support Custom Framing operations and frame shop coordination.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection and reduce shrink.
