Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Sales and Management Intern who will perform sales, merchandising and operations tasks while learning how Buckle's retail business works. You will work closely with Store Manager to understand what it takes to excel in management.

Under supervision, you’ll gain hands-on experience in guest service, cashiering, display, and basic leadership, with a pay range of $17–$20 per hour and a comprehensive benefits program designed for full-time teammates.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; pursuing a Bachelor’s degree is acceptable.
• Strong customer-service mindset and ability to work in a retail environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop leadership skills in a merchandising-led setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and provide legendary service.
• Assist with cashiering, merchandise display and store operations.
• Work with Store Manager to understand Buckle’s retail business and leadership expectations.
