Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Wisconsin is seeking a pivotal leader to drive sales growth and develop a high-performing store team. You will execute sales initiatives, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer service while upholding our brand values.

The role offers training pay during onboarding and an average annual earning potential of $75,000–$95,000+ including base, bonus, and commission. Weekend/evening flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 with basic financial awareness.
• Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills for sales strategy.
• Able to set and pursue targets with a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or surpass store and individual sales goals, annual operating benchmarks, and personal objectives.
• Promote In-home design program.
• Champion and role model the selling process by overseeing the interaction on sales floor and evaluating team performance.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to sales teams to improve sales techniques, strategies, and overall performance.
• Ensure staff deliver exceptional customer service, building long-term relationships that enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
• Build a motivated and cohesive team by recognizing achievements, addressing concerns, and promoting a culture that aligns with the company values.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure they meet sales targets while fostering a positive work environment.
• Ensure the store and team reflect the brand image, guidelines, and customer experience standards; support marketing initiatives and promotions.
• Resolve customer concerns and other issues, plan and execute promotions/events, collaborate with support teams for operational excellence, and uphold brand standards in-store.
