Job summary

Chico’s FAS, Inc. seeks a Sales Lead to support the store management in driving a customer- and product-focused sales culture. You will supervise sales associates, manage cash handling, and ensure excellent service aligns with MAPS standards.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. You will help train staff and optimize merchandising and clienteling initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
• Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to communicate with customers.
• Regular attendance essential; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a customer- and product-focused sales culture.
• Oversees opening/closing duties and merchandise flow processes.
• Supervises sales associates and cash handling; ensures floor coverage.
• Maintains merchandising standards and loss prevention.
• Trains and coaches selling team on product knowledge and clienteling.
• Leads in-store operations and locate fulfillment activities.
• Supports training programs and coaching for associates.
