Job summary

Chico's in Granger, IN is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leadership, guide the team on the sales floor, and uphold brand standards while delivering memorable, customer-centered experiences.

You will open and close the store, coach teammates, supervise operations, and help with scheduling, cash handling, inventory, and merchandising while empowering a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships
• Team player mindset with ownership and initiative
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate the register

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
