Job summary

White House Black Market in Rockaway, NJ is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leadership, supervise the team, and model a welcoming, customer-centered environment. You will help uphold brand standards and drive sales while supporting leadership with opening/closing and operations.

Ideal candidate has 2 years of retail management experience, is 18+, can coach others, works nights, weekends, and holidays, communicates effectively, builds relationships, and can lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and share product knowledge.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Share ideas with the store leadership team and contribute to a positive work environment.
