Job summary

Staples is seeking Retail Sales Supervisors to champion customer engagement and oversee front of store operations in Maryland. You and the store team will focus on increasing sales, conversions and service throughout the store, while actively engaging customers to provide complete solutions.

Hiring immediately. As a supervisor, you will coach the team, own weekly sales and merchandising activities, and drive a great customer experience across all areas of the store.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience selling retail products or services.
• Able to engage with customers and understand needs.
• Effective communication and organizational skills; adaptable.
• Experience coaching a team or supervising others.
• Able to lift/move 10–50 pounds and be physically capable.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer coaching and support to drive customer service, sales, and conversion.
• Own weekly sales and merchandising activities.
• Perform Floor Leader role directing the team to deliver a great customer experience.
• Champion company initiatives and adapt to changes or additional duties.
• Remain available and support an engaging store environment.
• Complete daily merchandising and sales tasks.
• Assist with operational tasks in partnership with the GM.
• Peer coach team on behaviors to win and deliver results.
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
