Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead at our Augusta, GA location to partner with store leadership, supervise the team, and drive a welcoming, customer-centered experience. You will lead by example on the sales floor, coach associates, manage cash handling and scheduling, and ensure inventory and replenishment align with brand standards.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of retail leadership experience, strong communication, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• A team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Support associate development and scheduling as needed.
• Share ideas with the store leadership team to improve performance.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork.
